1. Introduction
===============================================================================
Address Book Conversion Utility imports fax numbers, e-mail addresses and 
other data created using Lotus Notes (Notes), Microsoft Exchange (Exchange), 
and other applications, and converts the data to a format that can be used by 
a Canon device. This eliminates the need for troublesome re-input of data, 
which not only saves time, but also reduces the risk of input errors. 
Address Book Conversion Utility also includes functions for quick and easy 
editing of existing records and input of new records. 

2. Minimum Computer System Requirements
===============================================================================
The following are the minimum computer system requirements for running Address 
Book Conversion Utility. 
 - Software:  Microsoft Windows 98, Me, NT4.0*, 2000, or XP
 - Hardware: A computer capable of running the applicable operating system. 
 * Windows NT 4.0 requires Service Pack 4 or later. 

3. Installing Address Book Conversion Utility 
===============================================================================
Perform the following steps to install Address Book Conversion Utility. When 
installing under Windows NT 4.0, 2000, or XP, you will need to log on as an 
Administrator before starting installation. 

- To install Address Book Conversion Utility 
 1) Double-click the [Setup.exe] icon. This starts the installer. 
    * Depending on your computer system, the icon to start the installer may 
      be marked [Setup] instead of [Setup.exe]. 
 2) When the Install Wizard screen appears, click the [Next] button. 
 3) This displays a screen for specifying the location of the installation. If 
    you want to use the default location, click the [Next] button. If you want 
    to specify a location other than the one shown, click the [Browse] button 
    and then use the dialog box that appears to select a location. 
    Clicking [Next] starts actual installation. 
 4) A message appears to let you know when installation is complete. Click the 
    [Finish] button. 
 This completes the installation procedure. 

- To uninstall Address Book Conversion Utility 
1) Quit Address Book Conversion Utility if it is running. 
2) On the Windows [Start] menu, select [Settings] and then [Control Panel]. 
3) On the Control Panel [Add/Remove Applications] dialog box, select [Address 
   Book Conversion Utility] and then click the [Add/Remove] button. 
4) This starts a Wizard for removing the application. Follow the instructions 
   as they appear on your screen. 

4. Importing from Microsoft Exchange
===============================================================================
You can use Address Book Conversion Utility to import the data listed below from
 Microsoft Exchange 5.5 or 2000.
